What you do
-
Hang out
Walk around as a chibi avatar, chat, emote and strike poses. Pick your hair, outfit and accessories in the wardrobe.
-
Build together
Place torii, lanterns, stalls, gardens and dozens of decorations. The shrine belongs to the whole group.
-
Gather faith, even offline
What you build earns faith in real time, for up to a day while nobody's on. Spend it to grow the shrine.
-
Meet visitors
34 Touhou characters drop by, drawn by what you've built and the time of day. Help with their favours to earn hearts and keepsakes.
-
Fish and forage
44 fish across eight waters, some that only bite at certain hours or in a storm, and mushrooms to find in the Forest of Magic.
-
Dodge danmaku
Practise against a visitor's own spell card in a short bullet-hell run, and chase the shrine's top five.
-
Restore Gensokyo
Repair the bridges to eight neighbouring islands and bring each back in stages, from Misty Lake to Bhavaagra.
-
Days, weather and duties
A day–night cycle, rain showers and thunderstorms, daily shrine duties, records and titles to earn.
The islands
Also waiting to be restored: the Human Village, the Forest of Magic, the Youkai Mountain hot spring and Bhavaagra above the clouds. Visitors include Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Cirno, Sakuya Izayoi, Remilia and Flandre Scarlet, Sanae Kochiya, Suwako Moriya, Nitori Kawashiro, Aya Shameimaru, Kaguya Houraisan, Fujiwara no Mokou, Youmu Konpaku, Yuyuko Saigyouji, Yukari Yakumo, Tenshi Hinanawi and more.
